No. It's a life saving, flu medication. If they would have produced it earlier this year..I think we will hv zero death for H1N1 in Malaysia...
Laninamivir is a long acting neuraminidase inhibitor (LANI), a single inhaled dose of laninamivir was shown to be as effective as oseltamivir (Tamiflu) administered orally twice daily for 5 days (total of 10 doses). Can u imagine that ? A single dose will do...Sounds like heavan is upon us.....
And most of all, it's safe for children to use too, they have run a clinial trial on children aged 9yrs and younger in Japan.
Now, everybody is just waiting for it to be mass produced and made available to the public.
